Happy Monday babes! I hope everyone had a great weekend!

How happy am I that bell sleeves are back! I’ve always loved them since they first came about (well, in my lifetime that is). They no longer have that 70’s flair to them but now a tailored look to keep up with our stylish times and they are still fabulous!

I’m obsessed with the look and if my entire closet contained bell sleeves, I’d be a happy camper. 🙂

The top that I’m wearing is from Rose Wholesale and I must say the quality is pretty amazing! I’m always skeptical when I receive products from overseas but I was pleasantly surprised with this sweater and for only $15 no less! It has become a new favorite of mine and I love that I can wear it with just about anything.

I’m also wearing my Daniel Wellington watch and rose gold cuff which have been on repeat. The pair are the perfect accessories and they make great holiday gifts. Falling For Mustard Yellow

Since the summer, I’ve been obsessed with yellow. The true love affair began with this post here and it’s been strong ever since. With fall upon us, we have the pleasure of witnessing the many spectacular hues of the season. These hues range from brown to a deep burgundy with your yellows, oranges and reds in between. I must admit that although I’m a summer girl, I can’t help but appreciate the beauty that is fall.

Mustard yellow is a new fall favorite of mine – it’s the perfect blend of red, yellow and orange.

Funny enough, when I walked into H&M, it was not my intention to purchase these items. I went into the store for a completely different purpose but once I spotted the scarf and cardigan, I couldn’t resist, I had to take them home with me. I tried to link the cardigan but it’s not available on the H&M site so I’ve linked similar above. You can find the cardi in stores, however. The dress and boots are old so I’ve linked similar.

I wore this outfit to our Style Collective Blogger meetup in NYC last weekend and I couldn’t be happier with the choice. It was a little on the cool side that day so I made sure to wear a cardigan over my dress for extra warmth along with the leather jacket and scarf. But how perfectly did this combination work out? A wonderful mix of mustard, black and taupe.

Professional Look in Black And White

Happy Halloween!

This post has nothing to do with Halloween but I am looking forward to taking the kids trick or treating tonight. I myself don’t dress up but I love to see the little kiddos in the neighborhood running around in their costumes. They’re just so cute! What are your plans for Halloween?

Today, I’m sharing a simple work look – classic black and white. Though I work from home most days, when I go into the office, I like to look professional from time to time based on my mood. I work in a corporate environment but it’s not as strict as it was a few years ago where you had to dress up everyday. We can now wear jeans any day of the week and not just Fridays. Woo hoo! However, sometimes, I do like to dress it up in the office.

I don’t know about you but I feel like a bow on a blouse adds a certain amount of class to an outfit. To me, it’s the ultimate professional look – like you mean business. I picked up this top from H&M a few weeks ago and paired it with a black skirt, also from H&M, but from about two years ago. The heels are from Nine West, linked here and the bag from Forever 21, (in stores, similar below).

*Please disregard the looks of my hair. It was super windy that day and it was all I could do to keep it under control. 🙂

On Trend: Long Sweater Vest + Graphic Tee

One trend that I’m absolutely loving right now are long vests. Be it the sweater vest or the trench vest, I’m loving them all! The one that I’m wearing is a heather grey from H&M. Here I am wearing it with a t-shirt and black jeans but I can’t wait to wear it with an LBD. I’ve linked the exact one below along with a few more favorites.

How about this t-shirt, huh? I love clothing with a message and I personally feel that I don’t own enough. This shirt is a constant reminder to make everyday a positive one no matter how hopeless things may seem. You have a choice in how your day will develop. That I can definitely get with.
