Thank goodness that summer is still lingering. It is by far my favorite season and I’m so not looking forward to the cold. It was a gorgeous 85 degrees so the family and I took full advantage of the warm weather and took a trip to the beach. It was so nice to just lie down and relax while the kids played in the sand. The great thing about going to the beach in the off-season also is that it’s super quiet and you have plenty of room to spread out.
I wore this bikini set from Rosegal which I thought I would never get a chance to wear since it was getting so cold already. When I saw it on the site, I thought it would be perfect for going on a beach vacation because of the pattern and the ruffles are super cute. It’s a cute suit but I do think it’s a bit big for me.
I also chose this super cute coverup with pom pom details on the back and crochet on the front. Totally makes me want to go on vacation so I can keep wearing it. 🙂 Would it be too much if I wore it as a top? I’m really tempted.
The “blanket” is more like a scarf so it’s not something that I would use at the beach seeing as how I had to hold it down so it wouldn’t fly away. But maybe I could use it as a wrap in the future.
All in all, we had a great day at the beach, and I’m so happy we were able to do that before the cold sets in. What did you all do this weekend?

This bikini is so stinking cute, it is really adorable on you. I love that Summer is making a slow exit, it’s nice to be able to enjoy the warm weather for a little longer.
