Happiest of Mondays to you! Hope you all had a restful weekend. Today’s post will be short and sweet. I’m bringing you the last piece from my collaboration with Tobi.
Though I love maxi dresses, I don’t own many. I always seem to run into the problem of the dresses being too long and I don’t want to deal with hemming them so I don’t bother. Sure enough, this dress was skimming the floor. It was definitely way too long so I had to make sure I wore them with high heels.
Though I’m wearing the dress with block heeled sandals – if I were truly going out, I would wear it with tan sandals like this pair or this pair. I would also totally dress it down with flat sandals if it weren’t so long. Nevertheless, I love the dress – the shape is perfect and the chiffon skirting and embroidery detail gives it a great look. What are your thoughts on maxi dresses? Do you find yourself hemming the dresses or are they usually the perfect length?

I am quite tall so don’t have issues with the length of maxi dresses but often they don’t have enough style for my taste. This one is gorgeous, the detail in the top embroidery is exactly what would make me buy this dress, love it!

This is really pretty! I am not usually a fan of the dresses with the shorter layer underneath that you can see, but I like this one. I am definitely a hemmer. At 5’4 I have to be!!!
