Hope everyone had a good 4th! As I mentioned in my last post, it’s my very favorite holiday and love the anticipation of it and I hate when it’s over. 🙂 My favorite part is the fireworks which my family and I enjoyed watching in our town in a big field. They make it a big party with music and a DJ and plenty of activities for the kids. The only disappointment is having to wake up to go to work the next day. Boo! I think the day after the July 4th should be a day off as well, don’t you? Nevertheless, it was so awesome having a 4-day weekend, and we enjoyed it to the fullest – going to the beach and enjoying the pool.
Now, let’s talk about this top (my third and final piece from Rosegal.) The top in intself is so pretty! I love the floral design and the OTS detail. However, my one hang up about it? It kept sliding up my shoulders! Why??? The first time I wore the top, I received compliments on it right away and all I wanted to say is “it’s pretty but it’s a PITA with the way it rides up my shoulders.”
I paired the top with ripped jeans and blue heeled sandals (similar linked below), plus a blue Fossil bag (similar linked below). I went with a small in the top but I think that I could have easily gone with a medium. Maybe that would have helped to alleviate the riding up issue, who knows? All in all, I would say that the floral pattern is gorgeous and goes so well with jeans but I don’t think I’d be able to wear it for more than a few minutes. Have you had issues with OTS tops constantly riding up?
