Hey Hey! Hope everyone had a great weekend. I’m excited because it’s the week before July 4th and I’m really anticipating a great holiday. July 4th is one of my favorite holidays if not for the fireworks alone. I’m like a kid in a candy store on July 4th. So praying for excellent weather and a great time!
Today I’m bringing you this mini “dress” courtesy of Rosegal. I say dress in quotes because it is super short and let’s be honest, who wants to walk around in a top? I know that some folks would have no issues stepping out in this dress but not me. Not that I’m overly modest but I do have limits. So what to do when a dress is too short? You turn it into a top or a tunic. My first thought in styling this dress was to pair it with shorts and I think it worked pretty well despite all the tucking in that had to take place. However, I could also see this with raw edge cropped jeans, and I think that I’m actually going to style it like that next time. I will share on IG when I do. ๐
The dress is super cute and I’m in love with the pattern and for less than $15, it’s a total steal! The material is polyester (eye-roll), and I do wish it was a better quality material but it’s not a deal breaker for me. In these pics, I will show you the actual length of the dress as well.

I wanted to share something else with you regarding this super informative allergy medicine guide. If you remember from this post, I’m an allergy sufferer during the spring and any help that I can get is totally welcome. This guide compares over the counter medicines to help you decide the best choices for you. It lets you know which ones cause drowsiness or what’s safe to take during pregnancy and how long the medication lasts. So if like me you suffer from seasonal allergies in spring or fall, or if you know of anyone who does, do check out this guide. There’s some really good info in here.

Love how you styled this Gail! It goes perfect with the ripped denim and cutout peep toe booties. Can’t wait to see you style it with some flared jeans closer to fall ๐

Looks so great as a top!! It’s great that it’s “versatile” enough to convert to a top. The print is also fabulous!

I totally thought it was a top when I saw it on Instagram but this would make a cool dress if it was just a tad longer! I love what you did to save the look though and totally salvaged this pretty piece.

I actually do this with so many of my short short dresses! Sometimes I will find the cutest dress that is a bit too short so I know I can always pair it with shorts! xx
