I took a semi-break from the blog for the past week due to fashion week and frankly, because I was exhausted. One thing that I’ve learned is that NYFW is no joke and it is not for the faint of heart. All day everyday, you run around from show to show with little time in-between to eat and unwind and you can forget about sleep! That word is just not in the vocabulary during those days. But you know what, I wouldn’t change it for the world! Being able to attend runway shows and events is something I will never take for granted. I will share my experience in the next few posts but today let’s focus on this super cute frill sleeve top!
Shop the Mint reached out to me at the perfect time because I knew that NYFW was coming up and I needed clothing options. I had the opportunity to choose from their latest inventory and I have to say that it was really difficult to choose. I narrowed it down to 5 different options before deciding on this top. What can I say, the sleeves had me at hello! The top fits like a loose-fitting tunic and it is oh so comfortable. I love how the sleeves are layered and the keyhole neckline. It fits true to size (I’m wearing a size small) and can be worn with leggings, jeans, treggings, etc. I’m wearing it with these coated H&M pants and these Nine West heels.
So, three reasons why you need this top? 1) Umm…hello frill sleeves – who doesn’t love those? 2) You can dress it up or down with jeans, leggings, riding boots or heels. 3) It’s super comfortable and warm – you’ll want to wear it all day everyday! Aren’t those good enough reasons? Oh, here’s one more, it’s less than $50 so definitely not a burden on the wallet.
