Happy Monday! I’ve been away from the blog scene for a week but it seems like ages. But I’m back and ready to get things rolling again!
I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays and is ready to take on the New Year.
A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity of visiting a designer showroom in NYC to check out their S/S 17 clothing line. Ego Soleil is an emerging designer offering edgy designs with pops of color. Their pieces are unique with the right amount of edginess. I was able to try on a few pieces and the one that struck me was this high-low button down dress. It has such great flow with the mix of cotton and the silkier material at the tail of the dress giving it movement. The cut out detail in the back also adds such a nice touch.
Since it was freezing out, I wore it with a long H&M blazer and these leggings that I recently purchased from Nordstrom. Speaking of leggings, these are amazing! Honestly, I’ve been seeing them everywhere and I’ve been looking for a sleek, fitted pair and these are definitely it. I couldn’t be happier with them. They run pretty big so I followed everyone’s advice and sized down to XS.
Also wearing my new favorite Vince Camuto booties which you’ll be seeing quite often (along with the leggings, of course :)).

Sounds like such a fun experience! Showrooms are the best, especially when you walk out finding gems like this high low dress. I’m hoping NYC warms up soon, I’m visiting this weekend and I’m not sure if I’ll be able to handle the cold weather!
