Weekend happenings

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! If you remember my post from Friday, I said that I only had my son’s soccer game on Saturday and that’s all I was going to do, right? Well, it didn’t quite work out that way because we ended up NOT going to the soccer game due to the weather and then a friend of mine hit me up for a brunch date on Sunday. Oh well, so much for no plans! The hubs had a work appointment earlier that morning so I ended up taking the kids with me. But, it just so happened that M’s appointment ended around the time of my brunch date and since he was close-by, he ended up joining us. I was thrilled because now the entire family was out together with our friend that we’ve known forever and we had THE best time, and the food was delish! Check out the spread from this IG post! Do you culotte?

How do you feel about culottes? They’re all the rage these days – be it cropped or full length, pants or jumpsuit, there’s a style for everyone. Culottes are like split skirts. They give you the sophistication of a skirt but allow you the freedom of a pair of pants. I love this style and I’ve always wanted to try it so when I go the opportunity for a collab with Sammy Dress, I jumped at the chance to order this jumpsuit.

  1. I’m loving culottes right now, too and am OBSESSED with how you styled these. I was convinced I loved the booties best but the Converse give the look a totally different vibe that’s equally fabulous. Your brunch spread on Insta made me jealous, too 😉

  9. I LOVE THIS!!! It’s such a different look, and you totally nail it. You look adorable. I can’t tell which shoes I like better! They both give it a totally different feel. 🙂
