Today, I want to share with you two amazing products that I’ve had the pleasure of trying. Malie Organics recently reached out to me and asked if I would like to try some of their products for a review.
If you’ve never heard of Malie (mah-lee-ay), they’re a Hawaiian-inspired brand who specializes in luxury spa and beauty products. They draw from their Hawaiian roots by using only indigenous and local Hawaiian flora to create their line. They offer a line of bath and body products as well as home products. To shop their site, click here.
The first product that I decided to go with was the Reed Diffuser.
Let me say that I absolutely love reed diffusers. They’re such a great (or even better) alternative to plug-ins or fragrance sprays. I’ve tried other reed diffusers before but I’ve never really liked the scent. The last one we had in the house was just too musky (think men’s cologne). I prefer more subtle fruity or flowery scents that aren’t overwhelming so I decided to go with the Plumeria. The plumeria is a nice flowery, pleasant scent. My husband who is usually picky about fragrances actually gave it his seal of approval so that says a lot! Malie’s reed diffusers are also made of pure perfume oil and contains no alcohol.
The second product that I chose was the Pikake Body Polish.
Pikake, also known as Hawaiian Jasmine, has been called the “flower of love” due to its aphrodisiac and seductive qualities. The ingredients are:
• Top: Citrus, Green
• Mid: Pikake, Tuberose, Jasmine
• Base: Musk
For more info on the Pikake Body Polish, click here.
The Pikake Body Polish reminds me of my homemade sugar scrub due to the brown color. It has a similar feel where the crystals exfoliates dead skin cells and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. It has a such beautiful scent that I couldn’t stop smelling my skin. The scrub contains oils like jojoba, coconut oil, sunflower oil, etc, so it leaves the skin completely moisturized after using and there’s no need to follow up with a body lotion. Big plus!!! Be careful though – because of the oils, the shower/bath can become very slippery. However, it will give you a wonderful bathing experience.
I hope you enjoyed reading. Let me know in the comments below if you’ve ever tried Malie products and what you thought of them.
