I’m in disbelief that the year is almost over. The fact that Christmas has come and gone is unreal to me. The holidays have been pretty good so far but this year has felt different from the rest. I can’t quite put my finger on it but I have to say that I didn’t feel the Christmas spirit as much this year. Could it be because it went by so fast? Or maybe because I didn’t take more days off from work? I’m not sure. I worked from home on Monday and Tuesday and will be off for the rest of the week but now that New Year’s Eve is approaching, I’m feeling a bit ambiguous. I hope that I’ll shake the feeling.
Anyhow, moving on. The outfit above is what I wore on Christmas day. The weather was pretty mild though cloudy but it was nice to be able to go outside without a coat. I realize that I don’t own much red because it’s not one of my most flattering colors so I usually shy away from it. However, to keep with the holiday spirit, I wore red shoes to add a bit of color to a rather basic black and white outfit. It’s been a while since I’ve worn these leather leggings so I was happy to strut around in them. Ha! The earrings were a gift from my sister-in-law and they were a perfect addition – I linked a similar pair below. The top that I’m wearing was actually purchased at the Gap but I linked a similar one from H&M. The necklace I picked from up Forever 21 a while back and are no longer available.
