WIW: Holiday Party Outfit

It’s Monday again and I feel like I still have so much to do. This weekend was beyond crazy.  You may have noticed that my site looks a little different. Once again, I have moved my site over to self-hosted and it was truly a trying process. I’m happy that it’s up and running but there are so many kinks left to work out. With that being said, I wanted to share the outfit that I wore to my company’s holiday party on Thursday. We went to a beautiful venue on the lower east side in NYC called DL. Since I was leaving to the party from work, I wanted to be comfortable during the day but dressy enough for the evening. I chose this basic dress from Shein which I absolutely adore. Get this, the dress arrived in the mail the day before and I had gone shopping that day to find something to wear. I was so happy when I tried it on, it is sooo comfortable and it has pockets! I plan on getting it in more colors.

I wore my Cole Haan boots to dress it up a bit while not being overdressy. It rained that day but it stopped at all the right moments. So all in all, it was a good day and a good night.
