Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!
This weekend was definitely turned up for me. Although I woke up earlier than usual, there still wasn’t enough time to get things done. Saturday was a day filled with running around and Christmas decorating. Sunday was about prepping for Monday and more running around. I still haven’t gotten everything i need done but it’s beyond my control so it will get done when it gets done, right?
Blanket scarves have become a new favorite trend lately and I love styling them in different ways as temperatures drop. To some, they can seem extremely bulky especially when wearing them with jackets/coats. I personally prefer to wear them as outerwear when it’s not too cold or when I want to keep warm in the office.
For the first style, I’ve folded the scarf into a triangle shape and draped it over my shoulders. In this way, it keeps my back, chest and arms warm. I could even style this with a belt for an ever chicer look.
For the second style, I’ve folded the scarf in half forming a rectangle. It provides just as much warmth as the first style but it hangs shorter. This works well in the office when I don’t want the tails hanging from the triangle fold, and getting in the way.
These scarves are so versatile in so many ways. How do you style your blanket scarves?

Very nice! I love blanket scarves and also wear them as outerwear when it’s not too cold. I wear them the way you do in your first picture. Adding a belt would be nice…thanks for the idea!

Ha! Yes, belts work very well with these scarves. Definitely try it sometime! ?
