I set a few goals for this weekend and I’ve accomplished a couple so far. As I mentioned on Friday, while I was home working, I ran a few errands during my lunch hour.
For some time now, I’ve wanted to add a few plants in my home to give it more life and a warmer feeling. My living room gets light but some of that light is blocked by furniture and my challenge was to find plants that can survive in low light. I found two plants, one for low light and one for bright light and I’m crossing my fingers that the bright light plant will survive. I keep it by the window and I think it gets enough light but who knows? I’m also looking into a plant light to help keep sustain it.
The first plant is a Peace Lily (need to get a planter for this one) and the second I have no idea what the name of it is but it’s said to be a good source of oxygen. What do you guys think?
Take a look, and please, if you have any feedback at all on how I can keep these beauties thriving and healthy, please feel free to comment below. Cheers!

I love the plants that you’ve chosen for your home ๐ I myself am not very good at keeping plants healthy but somehow I’ve not watered my Aloe plant for weeks and it has survived!

Thank you Tasha. I really do hope they survive. I’ve taken to “chasing the sun” with the bright light plant. Lol. Love your blog, btw.

Plants bring so much to an indoor living space. I have cheated with some fakes here + there, but nothing compares to the real deal. I love that Peace Lily, very beautiful. XO

The second plant is a dracena. They tend to lose leaves over time if not given enough light, but it should hold up for awhile. The peace lily (you have a particularly beautiful one) is a forgiving plant and should do well even in lower light.

Thanks for the info! At least now I know the name of the plant. xoxo. ๐
