Happy Tuesday!
It’s been a month and a half since I decided to take on the no shopping for 3 months challenge and I must say it’s going well. I’ve been shopping from my closet, mixing and matching what I already have on hand.
However, I must say I did purchase 3 flip-flops from Old Navy for $2.50 each. Why? Because the flip-flop that I purchased on Fire Island broke. I wear flip-flops when I’m home while the weather still allows me to, so this purchase was a necessity for me. Yes, I could have bought one pair but they were so inexpensive, I figured I could use the back-up pairs. 🙂
So far, I have saved a good amount of money and I’m able to spend cash on more important things like my son’s birthday for example. I took him and five of his friends to play laser tag and then we had a nice lunch afterwards. All in all, it made for a happy 9-year old and that made me a happy mom.
Below are some of my fall picks. I love ponchos but I’m also a tunic girl in the colder months and I’m always on the hunt. So dear readers, if you know of any places online or in NY where I can find beautiful tunics, please share. I would truly appreciate it.

The flip flops are so cute so I see why you bought back-ups?
