Finally!

Finally! My first blog and boy am I happy to begin. First off, I started a lifestyle blog in 2006 and gave up on it due to lack of motivation. But now I’m back and ready to take on the world. Lol. Wish me luck!

Let me start off by telling you about my weekend with the family. We took a trip out to the Fire Island lighthouse and it was delightful. I knew the weather was going to be spectacular so I grabbed the boys (all of them) and headed out. We drove out to Robert Moses beach, parked in field 5 and took the 3/4’s of a mile walk to the lighthouse. The boardwalk changed since the last time I visited in 2011 due to damage from Hurricane Sandy. The path was diverted a bit which was lucky for us because it was a much shorter walk. We went all the way to the top of the lighthouse so we could take in the spectacular views. All in all it was a great day!

After the trip to the lighthouse, we decided to take a breather on the beach after the long walk back.

Now for my outfit of the day. I opted for a breezy H&M top with white shorts and Tommy Hilfiger sandals. I kept the jewelry to a minimum with a Lucky Brand necklace and diamond studs in my ears.
