Wow, it’s officially 2016. Happy New Year everyone! I’m not one for resolutions but I will definitely set some goals for the new year.
Family – I will continue to nurture my family and be the best wife and the best mom for my two boys. My goal is to continue to give my children as much love and attention as possible and take them out for an activity of their choice at least once a month.
Friends – schedule time with friends. For the past few months, I have cancelled meetups with friends for some reason or another. I plan on rekindling these friendships and get out more.
Fear – I hold myself back from success due to fear. My mind is my worst enemy. My goal is to meditate more and focus on my goals and what I’m trying to accomplish.
Sleep – My name is Gail and I’m a binge sleeper. I’ll be the first to admit that I have terrible sleeping habits. I go to bed late every night (has anyone noticed that I’ve actually commented on blogs at 1:00 in the morning?) Then on the weekends, I catch up on sleep and wake up late. I’ve always done this and it’s a bad habit that I’m trying so hard to break. Not only is it bad for my overall health but it’s not productive at all. So my goal in 2016 is to work on changing my sleeping habits so that I can get more things done during the day.
Blog – I’ve only been blogging for 5 months now and this blog has grown tremendously in a short period of time. I appreciate all the support that I’ve received and I hope to improve on my content and looking forward to future collaborations and friendships.
